Allen Avenue runs between Forest Avenue, at Morrill's Corner, and the Falmouth town line in Portland's North Deering neighborhood. Forest Avenue begins at Congress Street and goes out to Windham. Washington Avenue, the connector closest to #295, runs from Munjoy Hill, becomes Auburn Street at Northgate Plaza and proceeds to Gray as SR 26/100, through Falmouth and Cumberland. Travelers from afar can take I-95 to Exit 52, go right onto SR 26/100, then right onto Allen Avenue at the corner occupied by Dunkin Donuts. #295 is one and a half blocks on the left. The shop is in the garage.

Montrose Avenue runs between Brighton and Stevens Avenues in Portland's Deering neighborhood. Brighton Avenue, also known as SR 25, goes from Deering Oaks Park out to Westbrook. The Rosemont Market is a popular landmark at the corner where to turn off Brighton Avenue. #97 is six houses down on the left.

Warren is a village at Midcoast that the traveler on US 1 must pass through on the way to Rockland, Camden and points north. Coming from the south, take a left onto SR 90 and proceed 1.4 miles to the traffic , the junction with SR 131, then turn right onto SR 131, also known as Oyster River Road. Coming from the north, go right onto SR 90 (in Rockport) and drive 9.4 miles to the traffic light at the junction with SR 131. Go left onto SR 131. Proceed to Main Street, which is the first right. Five houses down on the left is the sign "Able to Cane". Take that driveway all the way back to the shop door.
